Cargo Worthy IICL (or “Cargo Worthy Premium”) is the highest grade within the shipping industry for used containers. It offers the highest quality and the least amount of wear and tear out of all the used container grades, generally looking better and lasting longer.
IICL certification of cargoworthiness is the strictest certification criterion used by shipping companies to determine whether a container is fit to travel across the ocean for the purpose of transporting freight. A Cargo Worthy Premium container passed inspection by a maritime surveyor of the doors, floor, walls, ceiling, and has been certified of its overall integrity. It is a fully structurally sound, used container that is leakproof and comes with no holes. It can be used in shipping goods overseas and for on-land storage and transportation. Every unit comes with our 1-year warranty against structural defects.
You may see a minimal to moderate amount of surface rust, dents, or scratches, as well the occasional large shipping line decal and other markings.
Unless a paint modification option is added at checkout, the color of the container cannot be selected. Contact us to color match multiple-unit orders or to inquire about the availability of specific colors in our current inventory.
For 45-foot-long units with more visual appeal, see the “One Trip” option. If the appearance of the container is not of the essence, the Wind and Watertight and Cargo Worthy grades are great options.
Recommended for use in custom modifications.
